Come Hear Me Talk! Live in Person!

Me, nervously speaking in front of people

This Saturday, March 19th, I will be giving a talk at the Tate Modern as part of a project called Visual Dialogues. I’ll be discussing an art installation there and how I respond to it as a blogger. The piece I’m talking about is by an artist called Mona Hatoum and is really powerful.

There will be other cool cats there, from athletes to spoken word poets, discussing other art works as part of this project too, so if you’re around, it’s definitely worth a gander.

I’ll let you in on a little secret here: I’m actually pretty petrified of speaking in front of people, but it ain’t every day that an internationally renowned museum like the Tate calls you up and asks you to be part of something like this. So, I may very well be crapping myself, but I’m facing my fear!

It’d be great to see some of my lovely blog readers down there, so if you do happen to make it, be sure to say hi. The event starts at 12pm and I’ll be speaking at 1.45pm.

The evolution of Bangs continues…
