Introducing…Team Bangs on the Run 2!
Ladies and Gentlemen, witness the fitness that is Team Bangs on the Run 2!
A couple of weeks ago, I invited any lovely lady who might be so inclined to apply to be on the next Team Bangs on the Run I’m putting together to run the Run to the Beat Half Marathon in London on September 25th. And apply they did! Nearly 40 applications in total poured in from amazing women all over the country ready to take on the challenge.
Picking them was a ridiculously painstaking task. I wanted all of them on my team! In the end, I think I’ve picked a great selection of ladies, age 19-34, from all walks of life, who will no doubt inspire and motivate any of you who are thinking about taking those first unsure steps into fitness.

Team Bangs on the Run is about empowering women to be the best we can be through the power of running. It’s about training hard physically but reaping the benefits mentally too. Overall, it’s about a badass approach to life, being focused, determined and strong willed. If you can run 13 miles, you can do anything you set your mind to.
So, even if you didn’t make it onto Team Bangs, sign up for the Nike+ Run to the Beat half mara, follow our tweets and train alongside us. Get involved. If you can’t run, how about volunteering to head up our cheering squad on the day?
Once again, we will be running for Refuge and would love your support (will post the link to the Just Giving page when I set it up).
Alright, trainers on? Get ready to join us on our journey as we train to run 13 miles and finish in style. See you at the finish line…
