Wu Tang said it best: Protect Ya Neck. As the temperature drops, it’s time to get cosy with knits and wool and snuggly things. I’ve recently been lucky enough to receive some very lovely things to pretty up my neck this season that I think are festive period essentials. I am a lover of cashmere. Ooooh the silky softness of it all. I just want to bury my face in this scarf all day. A lovely company up in Scotland, aptly named Love Cashmere, sent me this and I pretty much plan to not take it off, ever. Fantastically long, two of my favourite colours and you know, the silky softness of it all has quickly added it to my winter essentials pile. I have wanted a snood for the longest time. This one is from Edie O’Hara Designs. Chunky knit is always a winner with me, as are rich colours. This indigo shade packs a real punch. When you come in from the cold, you need something a little fancy to glam up your outfit and take away the winter blues. Raimonda Navickaite founded Stall 21 last year and makes one off hand made jewellery pieces. I like the simplicity of them – they subtly make a statement.
