Web-Lusting on Farfetch

Do you do a lot of web-lusting? I do. Web-lusting is the term I use to describe the hours I spend online lusting after various things, mainly clothes and accessories (lately, particularly Alexander McQueen Jewellery). I go on total Pinterest binges – pinning everything in sight, adding them to my ‘want’ list. The imaginary lifestyle I’ve got going on in the land of Pinterest is all the way awesome. The subject of many-a-pin recently has been Farfetch.com – you know, the site that brings together all the world’s best boutiques and lets you shop all the awesomeness under one roof? Yeah, that one.

So, there’s all sorts of designer collections on there, the prices of some of which, make your heart skip a beat. But then there are contemporary and diffusion lines that, with a few extra hours of overtime, are totally doable. Whack ‘em on the wish list!

My latest obsession on there is the McQ by Alexander McQueen collection. Seriously, take a look at it. So much royal blue loveliness, and spikes and studs and lovely tailored trousers and printed scarves and jewellery – ahhh yes, high octane web-lust right there.

I’ve pictured every possible occasion where I could wear different combinations of this collection (all of these said occasions are very fabulous I’ll have you know – they range from going to Nando’s to partying on a yacht). I love the bold colours and cuts in this collection. Some classic shapes mixed with bold prints is right up my street.

Good luck to you trying to stay focused on any particular section on that site though – there’s all those other designers, lists of boutiques where you can go and buy them. Just when I think I’m about to jump off there, something else catches my eye. And let’s not even talk about the sale section. Le sigh. So much loveliness under one umbrella site.

So check out Farfetch for all your web-lusting needs. It doesn’t disappoint.
