Bangs x Nike iD

About six weeks ago I did the British 10K with my beloved Run Dem Crew. Other Nike running crews flew in from all across the globe to take part in what we dubbed ‘Bridge the Gap‘ – an exercise in bringing together different worldwide crews to share their love of running and good times. To commemorate this, Nike gave a few of us the chance to iD a pair of sneakers and these bad boys are mine. Never Nike iD’d before? Check out the process below.

I went along to the iD store at Boxpark in Shoreditch. The team there are super friendly and thankfully, very patient. You have to choose which style of trainer you want, then customise each area of it with a colour and material of your choice. And my God, if you’re a little indecisive, that process can take a while. Mine sure did.

I love the style of the Nike Air Max 90s and decided to go a lil crazy on the colourways. You will not be able to miss my feet in these bad boys. Slightly brighter than I’d usually go for, these are officially my ‘fancy sneakers’.

Thanks to Nike and the guys at Boxpark for being awesome – if you haven’t iD’d a pair of sneaks yet, get down there and check it out.

I had a great experience at Kintec yeastrdey! At first I was treated professionally by a fellow(don t remember his name) who was very knowledgeable about my actual foot problem! I decided to go elsewhere to basically price check and see what other brands were out there. I wound up coming back to the Kintec store on McCallum in Abbotsford to try on a pair or two. I was introduced to Kristina who was to show me the various shoe types and to get me fitted as best as possible. Again I had very friendly service and she sold me some shoes that will hopefully cure my foot issues. I will recommend this place to any of my fellow postal carriers who rely on good footwear for their delivery jobs. Thankyou Kintec!
