Knomo iPad Case

Knomo

Excuse the poor quality, super quick iPhone pic, but yesterday, I was getting the train home, pulled out my iPad in my fancy new iPad case, saw all the women in my carriage look at it with lust in their eyes and I was all, ‘hang about! I’ve got to blog about this!’

My love for Knomo is hardly a secret – I’m on record as saying I would like every gadget I own to be encased in Knomo at all times. They are just insanely nice, very practical, ridiculously stylish pieces, which are hard to come across in the tech world. (To top it off, everyone I’ve encountered who works at the company is properly lovely). Anyhoo, they sent me this iPad case a few weeks back and I’ll tell ya, it’s given my iPad a new lease of life. I’d been struggling to find a good case for it so consequently, wasn’t taking it out with me nearly as much as I had anticipated I would when I bought it. They were all either a bit too clunky, didn’t provide enough protection or were just plain naff. Enter the Knomo one, especially in this colour way and frankly, what’s not to love?

It’s very slim line with one section to slot the device in, another section for a notepad or other essentials and a zip pocket on the front. I’m now genuinely using my iPad much more as a result of having the case.

Anyhoo, just wanted to post about it in case any of you are still looking for last minute Christmas present ideas – you can’t go wrong with a bit of Knomo. HASHTAG FACT!

Rust & Regret

Monday, December 10th, 2012

I’ve gotta be honest – the majority of stuff that pops up in my inbox is rarely anything to shout about. Unless a brand is doing something that really catches my eye, a whole lot of stuff winds up in the trash. Then today, this little gem popped up and I thought you guys might like to know about it. Rust & Regret is a new accessories label based in Melbourne, Australia and they’ve done a collaboration with artist Derek Nobbs. The result is a limited edition, sterling silver signet ring. I’m not ordinarily a massive fan of the skull and bone thing, but this is totally something I’d wear.

There are only 40 pieces made worldwide, retailing at AUS$350, so you better move quick if you want one. They’re officially available on January 31st 2013, but pre-orders are happening from now until this Friday (Dec 14th), with custom-sizing available – so it could be a kind of post-Christmas gift, if you’re in the market for some new finger decoration.

More pics after the jump.

The Knomo Alice Bag

Tuesday, September 18th, 2012

Well it looks like there will never come a time where Knomo bags don’t make it onto my favourite things list. NEVAH! I don’t know how they keep bettering themselves, but they do. Yes I know, I’ve written about them before here and here, but their Autumn/Winter range is now out and this bag, the ‘Alice’ as it’s known, will be my new staple accessory du jour (and all of the jours most likely for the rest of time). Doesn’t look like your average laptop bag, does it? Of course it doesn’t, because it’s filled not only with my laptop, but a whole bunch of awesomeness. Check it out…

I Heart Missoni

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

It’s no secret that I love Missoni. If I could afford to, I would drape myself in it every day – day wear, sleepwear, swimwear, you name it, I would have it on twentyfourseven. So, when swanky website, The Editeur, home of all things droolworthy in fashion land, sent me this scarf, I may or may not have squealed like a Valley Girl getting an engagement ring. Knomo iPhone Case

Monday, June 18th, 2012

As you know, I tend to only really write about brands that I really like so forgive me while I swoon over Knomo for a minute. I’ve raved about their bags before so when they sent me their new iPhone purse, my excitement levels reached ‘giddy overload’. In the space of a few days, it has become my very favourite accessory. More pics below.
