I’m lucky to have some pretty cool friends and acquaintances. Thanks to this, there is never a dull moment when dining out with them. Knowing people from a wide cross section of cultures, socio-economic groups and careers makes for some darn interesting conversation. Nothing against those I currently enjoy the company of while dining, but that popular game of imagining who would attend your ultimate dinner party, be they dead or alive, is a pretty fun one. So, I thought I’d share my dream guests:

Friends, it’s been a while since I did some video blog. Well, I’m back! This time, I’m with my good long time amigo, Simone Daley-Richards. We’ll be doing a weekly ‘chat show’ called Yadda Yadda where we’ll be talking about all sorts. Here’s our first episode. Enjoy, share and let us know what you think.

Last night, I was invited to dinner at Mango Tree in Belgravia. I’m not one to turn down a good meal, so off I went. This is the second time I’ve been and on both occasions, I’ve been bowled over by the service. The staff are just delightful – impeccably polite and on top of their jobs; your glass is never empty, when you’ve finished eating, the plates are cleared within minutes. I’d say in all honesty, the food isn’t mind blowing, but we had a good feed. We had fish cakes, prawn spring rolls, chicken satay, lobster, stir fried sweet chilli chicken and of course, a chocolate brownie to finish it all off.
Take a look at some foodie pics!

Being alone can be uncomfortable for some. This isn’t about whether or not you have a partner, this is about just being OK with spending time by yourself. Personally, I love it, but there are people for whom the thought of doing certain things alone petrifies them. Be it traveling, going to the pub or the cinema – it seems it’s just more socially acceptable to do these activities with people. Dining alone at a restaurant is like the final frontier. I know many people who wouldn’t dream of it, but I’m a master of it, so here’s a guide to how to grow some balls and go for it.
