I see so many people wimp out on running when the weather turns a little chilly. Don’t be a punk! It’s all just about wearing the right kit. So I thought I’d put together a few of my favourites and show you how to still look fly even when Jack Frost is nipping at your nose.

I’ve had many people ask me about what to wear to run so I figured it was about time I did a little Bangs Guide.
My very first attempt at running was on July 3rd last year when I toddled along to ParkRun for the first time. It’s a 5K route and it was hideous. I put a large part of the hideousness down to what I wore that day. I rocked up in sweat pants, a T Shirt and a hoodie, ready to get my run on. Not even half way through my first lap of the course, I understood why runners dress the way they do. I was sweaty, uncomfortable and everything I had on made me feel heavy.
So, my first bit of advice to you is this: embrace the lycra. Lycra is your friend. I know you may not believe it now, especially if you’re carrying a few extra pounds and feel uncomfortable, but trust me on this one.
