Wolford Social Event

Last night at the Wolford store in Westfield London, I hosted a party for bloggers to launch the brand’s Autumn/Winter collection. I have loved Wolford for a long time and wear it at every available opportunity. A couple of years ago, I struck up a relationship with their PR and together we have worked on ways to get them more involved in social media. Last night’s event was the result of that – Wolford’s first foray into blogger relations on this scale. I loved being a part of it and being able to speak to other bloggers about my passion for the brand and what they’re doing. It was a really great night. Check out some pics below.

Bangs x Wolford Event

It’s no secret that I love me some Wolford. I’ve worked fairly closely with them over the past year and a half with a view to getting them more involved with blogging and social media. So it gives me great pleasure to announce that I’ll be hosting the first ever Wolford blogger event on August 30th at Westfield London where I’ll introduce their pretty fantastical Autumn/Winter collection. I’m insanely excited about it, not simply because I love the brand, but to be able to share this with other bloggers I admire and respect. WAH Nails will be there to make people’s fingertips look supafly, DJ Radi Dadi will be spinning some tuneage, champagne, canapes and plenty of fun times will be had.

So stay tuned – I’ll obviously be talking about it in the coming week and live tweeting, Instagraming etc from the event itself so you can all be there with me.

Need a Host or Public Speaker?

A few weeks ago, I hosted the MAD Blog Awards, an odd choice perhaps, due to me not really using my uterus and all, but the crowd seemed to like my jokes nonetheless. Above is my outfit – classic Wolford from head to toe (the tights are a particular fave of mine from my extensive tights collection).

Bangs, Bun, Camera, Action!

A few weeks ago, I teamed up with photographer, Jamie Cowlishaw and hair and makeup artist, Rosie Binns to work on some new press shots for me to use for the various projects I do here, there and everywhere. The only criteria was big hair (obviously) and a nod to my love of old school musicals and Liza Minelli/Bob Fosse type styling. We had great fun on the shoot. Eyes Down Look In: Legs 11!

I love Autumn/Winter so much, mainly because I get to bust out my favourite dress/tights combinations. I have lost count of the number of pairs of tights I own. They say you should accentuate your best feature and hell, I’m just gonna go ahead and say I believe my legs are mine. I figure I should show them off while I’m still young enough for it to be socially acceptable for me to do so.

Above is me, Voguing like my life depends on it, showing off some of my favourite Wolford tights of the season. I adore Wolford – great quality and always really classic designs. From left to right, these styles are called Leo, Bondage, Quant and Fence. What I love about tights is that they can just ‘be’ the outfit. Wear a plain dress and just change up your tights and accessories each time and it never looks the same.
