I love this time of year. It’s full of promise and hope and optimism. It’s a great time to regroup, set some intentions and dream big about what you want for yourself.
One of the things I want for myself this year is to do more public speaking, so I’m really excited about this event I have coming up. I’ve teamed up with South Place Hotel to bring you an event in the form of an intimate dinner, hosted by me, with a talk about How to Find Healing and Hope Through Sweat.
If getting active is on your to-do list this year, this is the event for you, especially if last year put you through the ringer and you’re finding it tough to muster up any sort of motivation or enthusiasm to move.
I’ll be talking about how movement is an essential part of our self-care. When you’re feeling down and out, emotionally pummeled, like life is continuously serving you nothing but lemons and all you want to do is back away from the world, that is exactly the time to move, sweat and find your inner warrior. It’s the first step in rebuilding yourself, your spirit, from the inside out. When trauma makes you want to hide, movement helps you claim back your power.
So come join me to learn how to channel your healing through a good sweat session and leave this dinner feeling uplifted, determined and ready to take on the world.
The dinner is on Tuesday January 29th, 6:30pm at South Place Hotel – click here for all the details and tickets.
